Who controls your data
The BioCharged Compost Company Ltd is the intended data controller for BioCharge Britain registration information. The company's published privacy contact route and registered office details must be added here before live collection.
What we collect
If registration is enabled, we collect the participant type you select, your name, email address, organisation (if provided), broad postcode area (if provided), and any message you choose to send. We do not ask for special-category data, and the website does not store your IP address.
Why we use it
We use these details to respond to your enquiry and assess or administer participation in BioCharge Britain. We will not use them for unrelated marketing unless a separate lawful basis and notice apply. The registration endpoint receives the submission over HTTPS; the website does not write participant data to project files when running in production.
Lawful basis
The proposed lawful basis for an initial registration enquiry is your consent, given by ticking the checkbox on the form. You may withdraw consent at any time using the controller's published privacy contact route. The final lawful basis must be confirmed by the controller before launch.
How long we keep it
The controller must approve and publish a specific retention period before launch. The endpoint owner must apply that period and securely delete or anonymise the record when it expires. This website does not create a second local copy.
Who receives it
Submissions will be sent only to the approved CRM or database endpoint named in the controller's internal processing records. The endpoint provider, hosting location, processors, international transfers (if any), and security controls must be documented and approved before the form is enabled.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable UK GDPR conditions, you may ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction or objection to processing, and data portability where it applies. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
